UV curable coatings can be automatically roller coated and sprayed onto the surface of objects through machines and equipment, which can promote the decomposition of initiators under the irradiation of ultraviolet light, generate free radicals, trigger resin reaction, and instantly cure into films.
UV curing coatings are generally composed of UV curing resin (main resin), photoinitiator (photosensitizer), pigments, fillers and additives. There are many kinds of UV curing resins. UV curing resins are generally unsaturated polyester, vinyl ether resin, unsaturated polyester acrylate, polyurethane acrylate and epoxy resin.The field of UV curable coatings is a comprehensive application technology field combining polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, colloidal chemistry, surface chemistry and surface physics, rheology, material mechanics, optics and color science.
